Blockchain Technology for Secure Sharing of E-Health Records

The blockchain technology is a distributed, append-only and immutable ledger system, in which data assets are stored in blocks which are chained by cryptographic hash functions in chronological order; a new block of data is appended to the chain only when certain consensus rules are satisfied. As the benefits of blockchain described above, healthcare has become one of the most important emerging application areas of the blockchain technology.
