On Friday December 4rd 2009, Debabrata Panja is defending his PhD thesis

The disputas will be in the auditorium in Armauer Hansens hus, Haukelandveien 28.
at 10.15.

His lecture over the given topic was:

"Protein synthesis - the biological role of translation of specific mRNA´s in distinct cellular compartments"

The title of the thesis is:

"Translational regulation of long-term potentiation (LTP)
in the dentate gyrus".

Debabrata has been doing his research at the Institute for Biomedicine under the supervision of Professor Clive Bramham.
