Materials

The project’s outcomes include site specific performances, listening plays, journal articles and project publications integrating material from residencies and seminars, to form a multi-modal articulation of social acoustic research. 

The project will culminate in the production of a Listening Room, a permanent architectural construction to be built in collaboration with students on the grounds of the Faculty of Fine Art, Music and Design. The Room will physically house the Social Acoustics project and its outcomes, offering a library of documents, artifacts, and artworks. The Room will also function as a rehearsal space or lab facilitating students’ working processes and contributing to the interdisciplinary research culture of the Faculty.
