Appointed as UiB's representative to the Nordic India Centre (NCI)
Associate professor Alf G. Nilsen is the new representative for the University of Bergen to the India Nordic Centre.

The Nordic Centre in India (NCI) is a consortium of leading universities and research institutions in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. It was established in 2001 with the objective to facilitate cooperation in research and higher education between the Nordic countries and India. The Secretariat of NCI circulates between the member universities. Since 2014 the secretariat is located at the Umeå University.
Alf G. Nilsen undertakes the appointment from social-antropologist Kathinka Frøystad who has been UiB's representative the last six years.
