Power, Resistance and Development in the Global South

In the article "Power, Resistance and Development in the Global South: Notes Towards a Critical Research Agenda", Nilsen puts forward a theoretical perspective on the relationship between power and resistance in development processes and development discourses, and uses this perspective to develop a historically grounded analysis that stretches from anticolonial liberation struggles to our contemporary revolt against neoliberalism.

He also reflects on methodological challenges that attach to the study of power and resistance in the majority world - that is, in the global South.
