Register at Studentweb
Studentweb opens for registration for the next semester 1 July for the autumn semester and in the middle of December (week 50) for the spring semester (for existing students).
When you log in you can:
- update your address
- register for courses (both class and examination)
- confirm that your individual education plan for this semester is correct
- generate payment information so that you can pay the semester fee (if applicable)
The deadline is 1 February for the spring semester and 1 September for the autumn semester (some courses may have an earlier deadline for class registration).
Course schedules and reading lists
You can start to plan the semester by searching for course schedules and reading lists on UiBs web site.
Examination dates
On the web page examination overview and locations you will find examination dates for courses with written examinations. The dates for other examinations will be announced on Mitt UiB. NB! It is your responsibility to make sure that the examiniations you wish to take are not held on the same day.
When you have registered for courses, you will find an overview of your upcoming exams in UiBtreet. Here you will also find checklists that will help you with practical preparation for your exams.
Disability services
The deadline to apply for special arrangements are 1 September and 1 February for disabilities known before this date.

Student ID App
When you have paid the semester fee (if applicable) and completed semester registration on Studentweb, the Student ID app will be valid proof that you are a student at UiB for the semester. You can download the app in Google Play, App Store or Windows Store (search for
