Leaders
We react differently in crises and there can be big differences in how the individual experiences the situation. The most important thing we can do is prioritize contact and direct attention to our employees.
Some advice:
Get in touch - hear how it goes. Have regular contact with the employees. Be responsive to the employee's needs and point of view.
Make an assessment as to whether there may be a need to create common meeting places on the unit to meet others and chat etc.
Remind colleagues that it is good to be a little extra attentive now.
Find out if the employee(s) affected has a network or support. Pay special attention to those who are alone.
