Participate in the Welcome Programme for new international students at the start of the semester.

Stay tuned for UiB's spring semester Welcome Programme 2025. The programme will introduce you to different aspects of being a student in Bergen. Joining the programme is an excellent opportunity to meet other international students, as well as ask questions to UiB staff members. Attendance is not mandatory, but we highly encourage all new international students to participate.
Introduction meeting
We will hold an introduction meeting for new international students in the auditorium Egget at the Student Centre. Address: Parkveien 1. We have devided you into two groups depending on which faculty you will be studying at.

In addition to receiving practical information, you will meet a Norwegian student, learn more about the Student Welfare organisation Sammen and how to hike safely in the Norwegian nature. The programme will last approximately 3,5 hours.
