IPECP-future

With IPECP-future, we aim to provide a gamechanger in education through the launch of a circular education framework – with tangible mutual benefits for students, workplaces and society as students aim to provide solutions for real-life problems while learning. We will investigate outcomes and impacts of real-life IPECP and through research align education with the urgent need to create a future workforce equipped to provide optimal health and social care services and tackle the increasing complexity in the needs of the patients. During the project we will create a comprehensive research database with data collected from students during and after completing an IPECP programme in TVEPS, as well as from health care professionals and patients. The project includes >900 students each year from 17 healthcare education programmes, and >110 workplaces in Bergen and Øygarden municipalities. IPECP-future is multidisciplinary and has partners from Bergen, Tromsø and Groningen (the Netherlands).
