Invitation:

CCBIO has the pleasure of inviting you to the 13th CCBIO Annual Symposium May 13-14.

The symposium is preceded by the c-myc Single Cell Satellite Seminar May 12. The venue for both events is Solstrand Hotel close to Bergen, where you apart from the beautiful surroundings, historic hotel and professional updates also can enjoy the company of colleagues and the informal and mutually fertilizing scientific crosstalk in the breaks and the evenings.

We kindly ask you to register separately for the two events. (More info on the bottom for the c-myc event.)

13th CCBIO Annual Symposium May 13-14

Registration: Please register on this link for the CCBIO Annual Symposium 2025.
Scientific program: See prefinal program on this link

The 2024 symposium was a success with 200 participants, and we expect the 2025 symposium to be even better. To participate, please register on this form. At this point, we strongly recommend you to register as soon as possible to ensure participation and lodging. Registration will be closed when fully booked, which might be soon.

We have organized a strong scientific program and secured a range of international speakers, among them Sir David Lane, Eva Hellström-Lindberg, Olav Engebraaten, Theodoros Foukakis, Julia Tutzauer, Anna Dimberg, Steinar Ø. Thoresen, Gema Moreno-Bueno and Jean Albrengues

This year, we will also have more industry participants than earlier, with a separate educational session on career opportunities in the industry.

Younger researchers will be offered slots for 3-minute speed-talks as well as extended poster sessions with ample time for interaction between the participants. Deadline for abstracts is April 7.

The subsidized registration fee for academic participants is 2500 NOK/250 Euro per person for the two symposium days and the overnight stay with full board. For industry participants, separate terms apply, as is described on our industry page

In order to accommodate 200+ participants in the 138 rooms available, we are dependent upon as many as possible sharing rooms (up to four). So, please indicate if, and with whom, you are willing to share your room when you register online

The symposium is open for all, so please feel free to pass on this information.

Poster presentation or speed talk (deadline for abstract is April 7)

If you wish to present a poster, please have the following information at hand before registration:

  • Poster title
  • Authors
  • Whether you will present alone or with one of the co-authors
  • Size of the poster

Younger researchers will also be offered slots for 3-minute speed-talks. Similar info as above is to be included in the registration form for the symposium.

Note that a one page poster and/or speed talk abstract in WORD format needs to be submitted to Eli.Vidhammer@uib.no within April 7 for consideration.

c-myc Single Cell Satellite Seminar May 12

The newly established Jebsen Centre for Myeloid Blood Cancer (c-myc) will have their first Annual c-myc Seminar as a full-day satellite to CCBIO’s 13th Annual Symposium and will showcase recent advancements in single-cell genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and preclinical trials, setting the stage for future clinical applications. The event will bring together leading researchers to explore how single-cell resolution can advance cancer treatment and improve patient outcomes. For program, registration and practical information, please consult the seminar website.
