This takes place in Bergen, in the BB-building, April 7-8, 2025.

Hybrid event, online and in-person. Online participation is limited to passive attendance only. Deadline: March 17, 2025 (in person), March 23, 2025 (virtual).

This 1.5-day event will start with a full day of keynote lectures, presentations and selected abstracts from IMMUNO-model members focusing on the current pre-clinical bottlenecks in using Immunotherapy, as well as the discussion of novel technologies/approaches that are emerging in the field. This event brings together IMMUNO-model members together with experts from pre-clinical, translational and industry/SME sectors to identify current challenges and enable knowledge exchange to advance research models. 

The second day will focus on the development of WG2 and outputs of the consortium, development of task forces and development of publications and review series from the working group. 

Topics covered:

  • Overview of the Landscape of current preclinical models
  • Novel development is the application of humanized model systems
  • IPSC derived immunomodels
  • Application of Comparative Animal models 
  • Future directions in preclinical modelling to accelerate clinical development  

Who Should Attend: Basic, preclinical, clinical and translational Researchers, PhD students and early career researchers, professionals from Industry/SME and all other professionals working in the Immunotherapy / Immuno-Oncology field.
