This lecture is intended for a broad audience, and showcases practical scenarios where OpenRefine can significantly reduce manual data preparation efforts.
About the lecturer
Colin Richard Robinson is a research engineer at the Center for Digital Narrative (CDN). He manages the data for the ELMCIP Knowledge Base and the CELL Project. They are currently in the process of renovating it to use a Wikibase backend and to link all of the records with Wikidata. He is part of the Digital Narrative WikiProject and the Electronic Literature WikiProject.
The DH Lecture Series
The DH Lecture Series is a collaboration between the Digital Lab at the University of Bergen Library, the D-lab at NTNU and the Norwegian Network for Digital Humanities and Cultural Organization (DHKO). The lecture series addresses DH-related topics, and gives researchers and others involved in DH projects or research the opportunity to share their experiences, successes and challenges related to the use of digital tools and/or methods.
