Målet med prosjektet FISHends-Dig er å utarbeide et digitalt scoringsskjemaer til bruk ved registrering og skåring av kliniske symptomer hos fisk i forsøk. Formålet med skåringsskjema, er å fastsette humane endepunkter hos fisk i forsøk på tidlige tidspunkt.

Fastsettelse av humane endepunkter i forsøk med dyr er viktig for raffinering av dyreforsøk og for å unngå unødig belasting på dyrene. 

• FISHEnd-DIG er et prosjekt som arbeider for bedre velferd i fiskeforsøk gjennom systematisk innsamling og bearbeiding av data fra forsøk.
• Vår arbeidshypotese er at vi lærer gjennom metodisk behandling av informasjon og med det kan vi drive kontinuerlig forbedrings og raffinerings arbeid

Prosjektet er et samarbeid med fagområde Fiskehelse ved UiB, ILAB, Marineholmen RASLAB og AMC-Technology og har motatt prosjekt-støtte fra norecopa
