Jenny Krutzinna

I am a researcher at the Centre for Research on Discretion and Paternalism, Department of Adminstration and Organization Theory. My background is in law and philosophy and I have a PhD in Bioethics and Medical Jurisprudence. My main research focus is the role of well-being / best interests as justification in ethical and legal argumentation, especially in the context of raising children. An example is the use of well-being and beneficence as ethical justifications for limitations to personal liberties. I am particularly interested in bioethics as it relates to social justice and policy-making, esp. in the context of vulnerable groups.
