Obituary Madhab Prasad Bhusal
We are deeply sad to announce the loss of Madhab Prasad Bhusal, who took his M.Phil. degree at Department of Geography from 2005-2007.

Madhab was a keen student, working primarily in economic geography, and wrote a thesis on spatial variation in agricultural wages, based on a case study from Western Terai. He had also in several periods been serving as field assistant in research projects. Madhab was a very friendly and sociable person, and will be deeply missed by many friends. After his studies here, he became a lecturer at Tribhuvan University.
According to the information received, he perished on May 12th when he was part of a team providing emergency relief in the already earthquake struck district of Dolakha. The team was hit by a landslide triggered by the new, big earthquake. Our thought go to his family and loved ones and colleagues at Tribhuvan.
