Hovedinnhold
One of the main reasons I applied to this master´s program was the possibility of an internship as an integrated part of my master´s. I had the opportunity to work as a student intern at Veyt, which provided me with in-depth insight into EU climate policy, the green transition, and political analysis. Considering that climate policy is my main area of academic interest, I was thrilled to stay at Veyt for three months, learning from experts in the field of climate policy, renewable fuels, and emission trading schemes.
This experience has given me a more comprehensive view of climate policies and how they interact with other sectors, such as innovation, international competitiveness, and energy security. Previous knowledge from master courses was used regularly during my internship, and it was interesting to see how theoretical applications could be used in real-life scenarios, especially when analysing controversial policy initiatives from the European Commission.
My advice for future interns is to stay proactive and curious. Take every opportunity to learn and gain experience, and don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone.
