About the event (held in English)

Satellite tagging and data logger telemetry have revolutionized our understanding of marine vertebrates, including fish. This empowers researchers to unravel the mysteries of marine life, contributing to conservation and scientific knowledge. In this event two researchers will present some of their research, and talk about how these technologies provide new and essential knowledge for a more sustainable management of fish stocks.

  • Satellite tagging of Bluefin tuna in Norway, by Keno Ferter, Institute of Marine Research (HI)
