14th December 2022 the University of Bergen (UiB) and Bergen Offshore Wind Centre (BOW) launched a new and free e-learning course on offshore wind. Hovedinnhold
It was a proud Deputy Director at Bergen Offshore Wind Centre (BOW), Christian Guillermo Gebhardt, who presented the new e-learning course.
The course has been developed as a result of the increased demand for greener energy, and due to Norwegian industries need for new knowledge to support them in their green transition.
The EU plans extensive investments in wind energy over the next decades, and although Norway has world-leading and longstanding experience and expertise in offshore operations, we lack specific knowledge on offshore wind.
UiB and Bergen Offshore Wind Centre are devoted to contribute with research and education at a high international level to ensure Norway remains at the forefront of delivering renewable energy and offshore operations.
