Bridge to the Future 2017
Hovedinnhold
"Bridge to the future" is an organisation working towards a sustainable future through conferences, books and petitions. It consists of many organisations; the Norwegian Union of Municipal and General Employees (Fagforbundet), the Norwegian Civil Service Union (NTL), the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions in Oslo (LO i Oslo), Friends of the Earth Norway (Naturvernforbundet), Future in our hands (Framtiden i våre hender), Greenpeace Norway, the Christian Network for Environment and Justice (Skaperverk og bærekraft), Concerned Scientists Norway, Parat, Young Friends of the Earth Norway/Nature and Youth (Natur og Ungdom), the Grandparents’ Climate Campaign (Besteforeldrenes klimaaksjon), and the Campaign for the Welfare State (For Velferdsstaten).
Norwegian trade unions and environmental organisations, the Church of Norway, and researchers have come together behind one specific aim: a democratic, planned, just transition that creates 100,000 climate jobs, and allows for slowing down the country’s rapacious oil and gas extraction.
Recently, "Bridge to the future" arranged a conference focusing on climate and the transition to a zero-emission society. Our own Kristin Guldbrandsen Frøysa (CMR and UiB) participated in the conference, attending a panel debate together with Andreas Ytterstad from Concerned Scientists and Jan Olav Andersen from El&IT.
The conference was streamed, and can be watched on the right-hand side of this page. The video starts at the beginning of the panel debate with Kristin Guldbrandsen Frøysa.
