Presentation at Literature and Law Conference

Professor Arild Linneberg, one of the project’s senior researchers, recently attended the John Jay College of Criminal Justice Fifth Biennial Literature and Law Conference. The conference, «Visualizing Justice», was held in New York and featured speakers such as Peter Brooks (Yale University), Desmond Manderson (Australian National University) and Greta Olson (Giessen University). The program  was rich and diverse and included panels such as «Visualizing Shakespearian Justice», «Ethics + Justice» and «Rights + Visualizing Justice». 

Professor Linneberg’s paper was titled «History Dissolves into Images, Not into Stories. A Walter Benjamin-perspective on Law’s Stories» and was presented in the panel «Legal Philosophy + Justice».
