Aars, Arnesen and Christensen: The challenge from terrorism in the Nordic countries

Dag Arne Christensen and Sveinung Arnesen, researchers at Uni Research (NORCE), and Jacob Aars, professor at Department of Administration and Organization Theory presented the project: «The challenge from terrorism in the Nordic countries: An analysis of citizens’ reactions, policy responses and legitimacy.»

"The purpose of the proposed project is to study the sources of compliance with farreaching anti-terror measures among Nordic citizens. We hypothesize that how far the citizens are willing to let the authorities go depends upon their trust in institutions, their subjective risk perception of future terrorist attacks, and which groups are being targeted with the measures."
