IFT Research on the Cover of Science

On January 10, research results from the Birkeland Center for Space Science were highlighted on the cover of Science, which is one of the world's most prestigious research journals in the natural sciences. Each year, Science receives over 30,000 scientific articles from around the world, with only a small percent of those being accepted for print. An even smaller percentage is chosen to appear on the front cover. A Science cover is thereafore a great tribute to and international recognition of the Institute for Physics and Technlology and the University of Bergen.
