Two MED Prizes to IGS / CIH researchers
Halvor Sommerfelt and Cecilie Svanes have been awarded the Faculty of Medicine’s Publication and Communications Prizes, respectively, for 2019.

The Faculty of Medicine’s Prize for Publication of the Year goes to Halvor Sommerfelt and co-authors from CISMAC / CIH. The Prize is worth 100 000 NOK and will be officially awarded on MED’s Faculty Day (which has been postponed to autumn 2020).
The Faculty of Medicine’s Prize for Communication 2019 goes to Cecilie Svanes from CIH. Guri Rørtveit writes that Svanes’ research is of great value to society, and that Svanes herself has doen a great job sharing the information both within and outside Norway. The Prize is worth 75 000 NOK and will be officially awarded on MED’s Faculty Day (which has been postponed to autumn 2020).
