Learning objective: Participants will deepen their understanding of fundamental tools in the development of social and behavioral interventions (e.g., theory and measurement of intervention change, the importance of participatory intervention development activities) with a consideration of how interventions can be built with implementation and cultural fit as central organizing design principles. Positive youth development interventions will be used as examples, however most of these tools and design principles apply to social and behavioral interventions in general.
