Imaging in Cardiac Research 2023

The University of Bergen arranged the NORHART course in Cardiac Imaging in Research this May. Twelve PhD students from all over Norway were gathered for an interactive course covering a wide range imaging methods used in cardiovascular research. 

Lectures were given by national experts in cardiovascular imaging. The first day of the course was devoted to the basic principles of cardiovascular imaging, whereas the following days focused on imaging of cardiac function and disease. The keynote speaker was Professor David Newby from the University of Edinburgh who gave an excellent overview of Cardiac CT and advanced cardiac imaging methods. We thank all the speakers and participants for a stimulating course!
