Hovedinnhold

Following the motto "Good science, better medicine, best practice" ESMO congress has been the focal European gathering point for oncological professionals focused on improving treatment of cancer patients. This year's annual ESMO Gynaecologic Cancers Congress has been held in Florence, Italy and has once again gathered scientists and clinicians around this hot topic.

Bergen Gynecologic Cancer Research Group's postdoctoral fellow Hege Berg has won the award for the best poster in the category "Basic and translational research" for her work titled "Risk-predicting value of pragmatic preoperative molecular classification". Congratulations on the well-deserved prize!

Hege was not the only group member presenting at the meeting. Group leader prof. Camilla Krakstad presented the poster titled "Loss of vimentin expression in preoperative biopsies independently predicts lymph node metastasis in endometrial cancer", while researcher Mari Kyllesø Halle had the honor of holding a talk on TROP-2, TF and NECTIN4 as targets for ADC treatment in cervical cancer.
