Hovedinnhold

As Organizing Chairs of the conference, our faculty members (Birgit Kopainsky, Ali Saysel, Saeed Langarudi, and Billy Schoenberg) have been working tirelessly over the last months to put together the 42nd International System Dynamics Conference. This year's conference had a record number of submissions, with over 400 participants and more than 300 accepted presentations. As of last week, the in-person tickets to conference are sold out!

The conference kicks off today, on July 30, with a series of online workshops. The in-person events will commence on August 4 in Bergen at the Scandic Bergen City Hotel. In addition to the conference presentations, workshops, and networking events, the UiB team have organized two special activities for conference attendees.

  • On August 4, attendees can choose to attend the Bergen Walking Tour around the city center and take the Fløibanen or hike up Fløyen for a picturesque view of Bergen.
  • On August 5, a municipal reception will be held at the University Aula in the UiB Museum.

We are also proud to announce that there will be 31 presentations at the main conference, including two plenaries, authored or co-authored by the System Dynamics Group faculty and students (in underline):
