Hovedinnhold

It is with sincere sadness we share the news that our esteemed colleague and friend, Thomas Hylland Eriksen, passed away yesterday after a prolonged illness.

Thomas was an inspiration to so many, a uniquely generous and curious soul, always eager to share new ideas and perspectives. His contributions were invaluable not only to our discipline on a global scale but also to the public discourse in Norway, where he was a prominent figure. We have lost an intellectual companion and a cherished human being far too soon.

He will be deeply missed. Our thoughts are with his family in Oslo during this time of grief.
