Here, we have compiled the important dates of UIB application process into a timeline, so that you can keep track of the various responsibilities you will need to take care of on your track to an exchange period at UIB.

Nomination period from partner institutions	1 September - 1 October (except for Music)
Application deadline for nominated students Register for restricted courses Upload documentation in Søknadsweb Complete your application in Søknadsweb	15 October
Application deadline for housing (with housing guarantee)	1 November
Letter of Acceptance will be in published in Søknadsweb by	28 November
Cancellation deadline for student housing	30 November
Apply for residence permit (non-EU/EFTA citizens only) by	1 December
Accept/decline offer of admission from UIB	5 December
Access to the online registration system Studentweb	16 December
Complete Learning agreement (Erasmus+ students only)	16 December or later
Application deadline for Norwegian language courses at beginner's level	3 January
Application deadline for Norwegian language courses at intermediate level	1 February
Deadline for admitted students Register as an UIB student Register for courses and exams Pay the semester fee (if applicable)	1 February
