Winner of the Researcher Grand Prix national final
Cecilie Gudveig Gjerde from the Tissue Engineering group won the national final of the Researcher Grand Prix.

Cecilie Gudveig Gjerde is a PhD candidate at the Department of Clinical Dentistry, and is researching how to create new jaw bone using the body's own stem cells.
Cecilie competed against 7 other candidates from Oslo, Trondheim and Bergen, but was voted the winner by the judges and audience. Cecilie thus won the first prize of a cheque for 20.000kr, in addition to the winning trophy.
Researcher Grand Prix is a competition organized by the National Science Week in Norway.
