UiB professors Dag Elgesem (Department of Information Science and Media Studies) and Kjersti Fløttum (Department of Foreign Languages) will give a 20 minute presentation on the following topic:
Citizen opinions about authorities’ (lack of) facilitation of climate-friendly lifestyle choices
The talk will give a short introduction to the CLIMLIFE project, studying how Norwegian citizens relate the challenges of climate change to their normal, day-to-day life choices. Objectives of the project are to reveal obstacles to and opportunities for climate-friendly lifestyles and to unfold potential motivations or strategies behind life-style changes.Results from questions fielded in round 19 of the Norwegian citizen panel, concerning opinions about authorities’ role in facilitating climate-friendly everyday choices, will be presented.
