Arbeid
Jeg er en tverrfaglig miljøforsker (samfunnsvitenskap, pluss naturvitenskap og humaniora) med 20 års erfaring innen akademia og i det vitenskapelig-politiske grensesnittet. Arbeidet mitt fokuserer på 'Urban & Community Resilience and Climate Adaptation under Uncertainty' (strategier & alternativer, innramming og fortellinger, grensesnittet mellom vitenskap, politikk og samfunn, visualisering og kommunikasjon). Nåværende prosjekter omhandler urban, samfunnsrelatert, regional og arktisk motstandskraft og endring. Jeg er også interessert i bredere aspekter av urbane studier og fremtider, klimarisikostyring og styring under usikre forhold.
Jeg er tilknyttet seniorforsker ved Senter for vitenskapsteori, Universitet i Bergen og ved Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development, Utrecht University (Nederland).
