Week 44 - Ranjan Ghosh and Sumana Roy

In week 44 Professor Ranjan Ghosh (Department of English, University of North Bengal) will be Visiting Professor in the Dept of Foreign Languages and the Aesthetic and Cultural Studies Research group. In the same week the research group also hosts Associate Professor at Ashoka University, writer and poet Sumana Roy.

In week 44 Professor Ranjan Ghosh (Department of English, University of North Bengal) will be Visiting Professor in the Department of Foreign Languages and the Aesthetic and Cultural Studies Research group. He is the author of numerous books and articles on a wide range of topics in literary and cultural theory and studies, most recently the ongoing "Trilogy on Plastic Humanities.”

During his stay with the research group Professor Ghosh will give talks related to more general topics as well as to the more specific concept of “plastic figures.”

In the same week the research group also hosts Associate Professor at Ashoka University, writer and poet Sumana Roy, who will read from and discuss her most recent book Provincials: Postcards from the Peripheries
