Postdoc Waqas Azeem

Born 1985 in Pakistan, has both a veterinary degree from Pakistan and an M.S. in molecular biology from Sweden. He completed his PhD at the University of Bergen in 2018, and is now a postdoc in the Kalland group. His postdoc work aims for production of therapeutic monocyte-derived dendritic cells for new cancer immunotherapy.

Waqas Azeem completed his PhD June 1st. Dissertation title: "Regulatory patterns in prostate cell differentiation – investigation of transcription factors AR, GATA2 and NKX3-1". Supervisors were Professor Karl-Henning Kalland and Xisong Ke. See press release.
