This week we welcomed our new group of master’s students. The students have settled into their workspaces together with our researchers. Each student has a CET mentor who will help them settle into the centre.

Every year we invite dedicated students working on topics related to CET's activities to apply for a workspace at the centre. The workspaces are available for students from all disciplines who will benefit from working within an interdisciplinary study environment. Many of our students go on to work within academia, as PhD students and research assistants. They are an integral part of our research community.

This year all 3 of our master's students are in the Master of Sustainability programme:

  • Lina Seldal is writing about the correlation between climate, environment and human rights in companies. Her supervisor is Roger Strand (SVT). Her CET mentor is Shayan Shokrgozar.
  • Finn Corus is conducting an uncertainty assessment of the process of developing Strategic Environmental Assesments (SEIA) for offshore wind. His supervisors are Jeroen van der Sluijs (SVT) and Aiste Klimašauskaitė (SVT). His CET Mentor is Mahir Yazar.
  • Ingvild Kjelsvik is looking into nuclear energy, specifically small modular reactors (SMR). Her supervisors are Tsimafei Kazlou (CET) and Jessica Jewell (Chalmers/CET). Her CET mentor is Silje Kristiansen.

We are looking forward to the energy they will bring to CET!
