The group 'Digital Development' at the University of Bergen Library supports, operates and develops digital services related to research, the library's collections and library services.
We support researchers at UiB in the development of digital project infrastructures and operate digital services particularly related to research and publishing services at UiB.
In addition, we offer training in a number of digital tools and methods through the Digital Lab.
This page provides information about the various projects the DU group is involved in and outlines areas of work and responsibility.
If you have questions or wish to collaborate with us in the future, contact the academic director for Digital Development.
Digital Development at the University Library has expertise in various programming languages, systems, frontend and backend development.
If you wish to develop a research infrastructure or find out about publication possibilities for your data set, it is important to take considerations about the form research data early on in your project preparations. An early exchange about how data should be processed is therefore advisable. Projects with DU as a partner should be defined within the programming languages and systems that we operate and develop. A list of the languages/systems for which we can offer expertise can be found here: Overview languages and systems.
