Fire prevention course
All UiB Employees must complete a fire prevention course which consists of a digital part, and a practical part on how to put out fires. This is required by law.

The digital part of the course will be sent to all participants by email. The first time you take the course the email will be sent from your manager, following years the email will be generated automatically. It takes approximately 30 minutes to complete the course. UiB have hired Teknisk Industrivern AS to hold our fire prevention courses. Your section leader will send information about the courses by email.
Employees are required to sign up for the practical part of the course themselves. You can do this by following the link below.
The practical course takes 1 hour to complete.
There is a 190 NOK fee per participant to cover the cost of the practical course. This will be paid by the participant’s faculty/department/division. The Faculties will be charged for all registered participant whether they attend the course or not. A buy-order must be placed before you sign up, and the buy-order must be attached to the sign-up form.

- Thursday June 6th at 09:00-10:00.
- Thursday June 6th at 10:00-11:00.
- Thursday December 5th at 09:00-10:00.
- Thursday December 5th at 10:00-11:00.

The course is held at Sydnesplassen 7, between the HF-building and Sjøfartsmuseet.
