Research Infrastructur Facilites at Department of Earth Science in Bergen

The Department of Earth Sciense runs a number of different research laboratories housing a wide spectrum of modern equipment for analysis and lab experiments, several of which have status as national infrastructure (Earthlab, Farlab). The department also has access to the University's research vessels and is the host for Normar, the national ROV vessel. The department is also a host institution for the National European Plate Observing System Norway (EPOS). The department is responsible for the electron microscopes at the faculty.
