GOSars is part of Discovery Channel’s Mighty Ships series
Summer 2009 a crew from Discovery channel were aboard the GOSars as the ship returned with CGB researchers to the black smoker they discovered in 2008.

They were filming an episode for Discovery’s series Mighty Ships. The series is now in its third season and features ships that are at the top of their class. (learn more). The GOSars represents a state-of-the-art research vessel.
The GOSars episodes were released in North America summer 2010, and are being released around Europe autumn 2010. (Learn more about the Mighty Ships series from the Discovery web site)
