CGB Welcomes New PhD Students
2013 has begun, and so have the studies of two CGB students in our PhD programme. We are pleased to welcome Jan Vander Roost and Sven Le Moine Bauer to Bergen and to our team.

Jan Vander Roost earned his MSc in Biochemistry & Biotechnology from Ghent University in Belgium. He will be advised by Professor Ingunn Thorseth for his PhD work at the CGB
Sven Le Moine Bauer earned his MSc in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation while participating in the Master Erasmus Mundus program, studying at the University of Oviedo, Spain, and the University of Bremen, Germany. He will be co-advised by researchers Ida Steen and Runar Stokke for his PhD work at the CGB.
