After the information meeting at the Faculty of Humanities on 8 January,  we offer complimentary lunch and guided tours to Bergen Maritime Museum and Bergen University Museum. This is voluntary and free of charge for new students at the Faculty of Humanities.
 
To help reduce food waste, we’d appreciate it if you sign up for lunch in advance. 

12:00 Lunch at the Arts and Humanities Library

13:00 Guided tour at Bergen Maritime Museum
The Bergen Maritime Museum is an excellent place to learn about Bergen's maritime history from ancient times until today.  The museum offers a new exhibition about Viking ships! 

14:00 Guided tour at Bergen University Museum
The Bergen University Museum celebrates its 200th anniversary in 2025. To mark this special occasion, the museum offers a guided tour leading you through the anniversary exhibition — a unique opportunity to discover the university’s history and heritage. 

After lunch we meet up outside the Arts and Humanities Library and visit the Maritime Museum together at 13:00. Please be on time.

Remember to register here in advance. Limited seats for guided tours (max 30 students). First come, first served!
