Karen Rosendahl is a pediatric radiologist at the University Hospital of Northern Norway and professor of radiology at the University of Tromsø. Dr. Rosendahl did her Ph.D. on the use of ultrasound as a screening tool for developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) and helped introduce a new ultrasound method in the Norwegian screening program. She is one of the most experienced pediatric radiologists in Norway, with a special expertise in pediatric musculoskeletal radiology including the diagnostics of child abuse. www.medical-imaging.no. Dr. Rosendahl has an extensive research portfolio that also includes juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) as well as DDH. As a result of Dr. Rosendahl's Ph.D. project, the Hofte 89/Bergen Birth Hip Cohort was established, and she has led the follow up studies on this cohort resulting in several papers that add substantially to the field of DDH. Dr. Rosendahl was president of the European Society of Paediatric Radiology (ESPR) from 2017-2023, and is currently serving on the council of trustees.

Lene Bjerke Laborie is a paediatric radiologist at Haukeland University Hospital and an associate professor at the University of Bergen. Dr. Laborie's Ph.D was carried out as part of the first follow-up of the Hofte-89/Bergen Birth Hip Cohort, when the participants had reached skeletal maturity, and focused on DDH and femoroacetabular impingement. Dr. Laborie has later completed a postdoc with a mobility period related to the same hip cohort. In addition, she contributes to various fields related to paediatric radiology, such as DDH and AI, as a member of the musculoskeletal and paediatric AI task force groups of the European Society of Paediatric Radiology. Dr. Laborie currently holds a year-long fellowship awarded by the European School and Society of Radiology,  focusing on radiomics and AI in radiological cancer research, carried out in a multidisciplinary research lab and clinical environment, at the Institut du Cancer de Montpellier, France.

Trude Gundersen is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at Haukeland University Hospital and an associate professor at the University of Bergen. Dr. Gundersen also did her Ph.D. as part of the first follow up of the Hofte 89/Bergen Birth Hip Cohort, focusing on slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE). Currently dr. Gundersen is the leader of the National Pediatric Hip Registry in Norway and involved in several research projects on pediatric hip disorders.

Kaya Kvarme Jacobsen is an orthopedic surgeon at Førde Central Hospital and an associate professor at the University of Bergen. Dr. Jacobsen did her Ph.D. in genetic epidemiology and is currently working on the genetics of DDH and other related disorders such as secondary osteoarthritis.
