This week, the new LEAD AI researchers met each other for the first time.
This Wednesday, a welcome meeting was held for the new postdoctoral fellows participating in LEAD AI. LEAD AI is a development program that will run from 2024 to 2028 and serve as a learning arena for 19 postdoctoral fellows in AI. The program is funded by the MSCA program from the EU and aims to promote research interdisciplinary collaboration across faculties and departments.
So far, four postdoctoral fellows have started their projects at four different departments at UiB. This was the first time they officially met as part of LEAD AI.
The new postdoctoral fellows are:
- Robin Guillaume-Castel (Geophysical Institute)
- Jessa Henderson (SLATE, Faculty of Psychology)
- Lisa Haarer (Department of Chemistry)
- Lars Moberg Salbu (Department of Informatics)

“The four LEAD AI postdoctoral fellows demonstrate a great variety of research interests and are excellent representatives of the interdisciplinarity in the field of artificial intelligence,” says coordinator Guro Akre. “We are happy to have started, and look forward to soon welcoming more postdoctoral fellows to the group.”
