SUJO Launches a Master’s Course in AI for Journalists
The Centre for Investigative Journalism (SUJO) is launching a master course in Artificial Intelligence designed for full-time journalists.

Starting 2024, full-time journalists and editors will have the opportunity to take apply for a master's course Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Investigative Journalism.
The main purpose of this course is to improve participants' understanding of how to seamlessly integrate artificial intelligence into the field of investigative journalism.
- The course is tailored for journalists eager to explore the use of artificial intelligence in investigative journalism. The course offers a total of 10 study credits and it is, to the best of our knowledge, the only offering of its kind at master level in Norway, says SUJO leader Per Christian Magnus.
Apart from delving into the possibilities and limitations associated with the integration of technology in investigative journalism, participants will also examine the ethical dimensions of technology application, verification methodologies, legal boundaries, and the broader societal implications of technology.
