A group from our faculty visited sultry Dehli in March this year, and now our Indian colleagues are experiencing a typical Bergen in November; rainy, windy and overcast.

The visits are being financed by funding from the Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Education (SIU), and the investment has already resulted in concrete plans for student exchange from 2016, as well as teacher exchange and hopefully research cooperation.

After an initial day where presentations of the respective institutions were made, as well as an introduction to Norway’s legal system, the second day was spent delving into and discussing company law, banking issues, cyber law and competition law in our two countries.

The visit’s third day includes being present at the Bergen Lecture 2015, visiting Bergen Centre for Competition Law and Economics, as well as the Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Education. On Friday morning Dr. Arul Scaria will hold a presentation for the Bergen students interested in studying at NLUD for half or even a full year.
