The Secretariat of The University Leadership has the primary responsibility for the secretarial functions of the university's supreme governing body, university board, on behalf of the university director.
The section is also the secretariat of the Central Appeals Committee, the Central Election Committee, the Remuneration Committee and Suitability Committee .
The secretariat has overall responsibility for the university's regulatory framework and is assigned co-ordination tasks in the areas of privacy in research, internal auditing and consultation matters.
Furthermore, the secretariat is legal adviser to the administration and the university otherwise in matters of administrative law.
