From proteotoxicity to pancreatic cancer: Lessons from the CEL gene

Prof. Molven will present studies on carboxyl ester lipase (CEL), a digestive enzyme produced by the pancreas. He will discuss how mutations in the CEL gene result in toxic protein variants that cause or predispose to human pancreatic disease.
