The Department of Information science and Media studies warmly welcomes all new Master's students in Media and Interaction Design to the start of studies. Below you will find the academic and social program for the start of studies. The program will be updated leading up to the start of studies.

Wednesday, August 14th
10:00-11:00 AM in Egget, Student Center: Welcome to the Faculty of Social Sciences
11:00 AM: Get to know the campus, the city, and each other. The groups will gather at Egget.
Evening: Samfunnslosjen invites you to a film and game night at Ulrike Pihls House
Thursday, August 15th
Evening: Welcome mingling at Diskuterbar
Friday, August 16th
10:00 AM-11:00 AM: Information meeting for the Study programme
Location: Seminar 2, Media City Bergen (Lars Hilles gt. 30)
- There will also be an information meeting for the Master's program in Information Science that you can attend if you wish, with information about the course INFO361, which you will take in the first semester. This will take place on Monday, August 19, see below.
11:00 AM-2:00 PM: Student fair at Ulrike Pihls House. Get to know the student organizations at the faculty.
Evening: Student Committee invites you to a quiz night at Kvarteret
Monday, August 19th
10:15-12:00 PM: Information meeting for the Master's in Information Science, with information about the course INFO361, which you will take in the first semester.
