Seminar in research ethics 2012
Main content
«Is publication standards in research under pressure?”
The Committee for Research Integrity at UiB invites to a seminar about research ethics at Solstrand Hotel 31 October – 1 November 2012.
More than 1.2 million papers are published worldwide each year. This seminar and ongoing discussions in the scientific and non-scientific press, about the role of publications, open source and peer review, among many other related subjects, show that we are at a critical point.
We especially want to raise the question whether publication standards are under pressure both as a consequence of the increasing numbers of publications and the way information and communication technologies have transformed the landscape of science.
The seminar will be held in English. Welcome to Solstrand!
