The North Sea is a shared ocean with a high economic activity and large social importance to all bordering countries. What do we know about the North Sea? Where did it come from? What is the status of climate change, environmental condition and fisheries? What goes on in the energy sector - the transition from oil and gas to wind farming? How is the North Sea regulated by law? We have gathered some leading experts to provide answers to these questions for a broad audience - an interdisciplinary perspective on the North Sea history and future.
